Sing Up The River End

Sing Up The River End' was a chant used by the Barclay Boys to get more noise and atmosphere at Carrow Road. Surely they knew people in the River End didn't go to football matches to sing !

Not surprisingly new defender Michael Rose would like his loan deal to become a permanent deal, if Paul Lambert follows what he did with his last two loan signings Russell Martin and Anthony McNamee; Rose has every chance that his wish will come true.

Speaking to the media Rose said.

"I'm hoping for a permanent deal"

Not forgetting he may have to return home to Stockport he offered a few comments about their plight:

"I'm hoping Stockport get back on their feet and find winning ways again as I've got a load of friends there.

"The staff have been brilliant to me and I'm disappointed to leave but to come to a club like this was a chance I couldn't turn down."

If Lambert does sign Rose, it seems a very good idea to me taking the player on loan for a few weeks to have a dam good look at him, then decide whether you want him or can return to sender; but if his first game is anything to go he will be a good addition to the ranks.
