Sing Up The River End

Sing Up The River End' was a chant used by the Barclay Boys to get more noise and atmosphere at Carrow Road. Surely they knew people in the River End didn't go to football matches to sing !

City News

Despite the last day rumour concerning Wes Hoolahan, it would appear we got through the transfer window without losing any of the star men of the squad, with the last day only throwing up the departure of Simon Whaley, whose contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
It came as no real surprise that Whaley has left the club, he didn't really feature under Paul Lambert being dispatched to two different loan clubs.  I can't really comment or share my views on the player as I never saw him playing, but he clearly didn't have a place in Lambert's plans. However I am surprised that Jamie Cureton is still here, not being sold on or loaned out he has become the forgotten man of the squad; along with Michael Theoklitos who hasn't been seen near the first team squad for a long while.
