Exit the station and cross the road into the Riverside Complex. Follow the route alongside the river to the Novi Sad bridge (the white, pedestrian one) and continue along Wherry Road to the ground. The turnstiles for visiting fans are to the left, around towards the back of the stadium as you arrive. If you can ignore all the wonderful pubs and bars in the Riverside you should get there in around 5-10 mins on foot.

Follow the signs along the A47, heading towards Great Yarmouth. The signs will take you to the County Hall Car Park. From there it is a short walk to the ground. Just follow the masses. For disabled visitors there is a Park and Ride service to and from this car park to the stadium. The bus is adapted for wheelchairs. This service is for disabled fans only, as the car park is only about 15 minutes walk from the stadium.

Getting refreshments

The Riverside Complex is an ideal place for getting refreshments with most bars offering matchday specials of a meal with a drink. The nearest ATM is on the right corner of Morrisons supermarket, as you look at the building. Morrisons also has a cafeteria, selling hot food.

Squares

This is a great football pub, but is mainly used by home fans. There are two large screen TV, that show "memorable" Norwich games, and several smaller TV's with Sky Sports on. The ale is good, but expect to wait to get served, due to the sheer size and popularity of this pub. You may find the service is quicker upstairs, at one on the smaller bars. There is also a large rvierside balcony, which we are told hosts barbecue's during the fair weather games. This pub is well worth a look, but if you are in a large group, then the doormen may not be too welcoming!

Lloyd's No1 Bar
It's located next door to Squares, and is reported to hold 2000 people.

Old Orleans
This is large pub, and is a typical "Orleans" type pub. The ale is quite good, and it's certainly less crowded than Squares. The food is also much better, with the usually cajun chicken, burgers, and chips served. Recommended for families looking for a quieter drink.
Riverside has many excellent cafes/bars but a little word of caution it is predominantly a area for home supporters and most of the bars there will not admit or serve fans in away colours.'

The Compleat Angler

Which is by the river just over the roadbridge from the railway station (still around 5-10 minutes walk from the ground)'. This pub seems to have now taken over the mantle of the 'away fans pub'

Norwich is the capital city of the East of England and the centre of the Norfolk Broads. Many people choose to make a day of their visit, leaving the family to take in the city whilst fitting in the game. Norwich is a pedestrian-friendly city, the first British city to have pedestrian-only streets. There are plenty of hotels and b&bs to be found in and around the city, and if you are here overnight it is better to leave the car at your lodgings and take one of the regular and cheap buses into the city, as car parking is limited and expensive. As you would expect to find in any city, there are plenty of shops; Norwich is the country's fifth most attractive shopping centre, and the best in East Anglia. The banks are mainly centred in the pedestrian only streets just off the city centre, along with all of the fast food chains and a huge variety of pubs and restaurants. The permanent city market has just been refurbished and has been put forward for a multitude of awards.

The People

Norwich is a friendly place and the people even more so. Problems with away fans are few and far between, both in the city and closer to the ground. Any rivalry is usually limited to friendly banter, despite Norwich having an element of those who see themselves as hooligans, as is usual in any football area. This side, though, hardly ever raises any problems, as authorities are aware of any "hot spots" and these are well policed.
